End-to-End Encrypted
Notes are encrypted client-side using AES-256-GCM before leaving your device. Your encryption keys are derived locally via PBKDF2 and never transmitted to our servers.
Recovery Phrase
A 24-word recovery phrase is generated when you enable E2EE. It's the only way to restore your keys — store it somewhere safe. We never see it.
TLS 1.3 in Transit
All communication between your device and our servers is encrypted with TLS 1.3. Encrypted data stays encrypted in transit — double-layered protection.
Audit Log
Every login and session is recorded. Review your full access history at any time and spot anything unusual — device, location, and timestamp included.
Session Control

We literally cannot read your notes.
When E2EE is enabled, your notes are encrypted with a key that only exists on your device. The ciphertext we store is meaningless without your key. This isn't a policy promise — it's a mathematical guarantee. No employee, no court order, no data breach can expose your plaintext notes.
